  Love this store. The people who work here are great. They are always very personable and accommodating. My only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is the fruit. It's not that great but that has been at all Lowe's.

  The selection is good but prices are a little high. And, unfortunately, most of the employees are young and inexperienced and are rarely fully trained in the skills needed to do their job. For example, if they don't have the cash in their drawer to give you the change for your order they say, "YOU have to go to customer service to get your change." No one has taught them about service.

  My favorite grocery store to shop in the Wake Forest area is Lowes Foods. As a big proponent of shopping local, they really fit the bill for me as they also support local farmers and suppliers.
  
  The staff is always friendly and the store is clean. The produce is fresh, the meat and seafood department is clean and well-staffed, and the Sausage Works--oh yeah!
  
  I have taken advantage of the Lowes Foods to Go option in the past, and I enjoy seeing the personal shoppers carefully filling orders, selecting just the right produce, or calling their customers to inquire about substitutions. Personal service at its best.

  Great store, good service from staff. I regularly use coupons so doubling up to $.99 is great, and the team up front usually work with me on things. Prices could be a little better, but let's face it - it ain't Wal-mart.
